On my front cover, of my magazine 'Reverse' I plan to have a male artist on the front, possibley a singer of a band, or an actual solo artist. This artist will be Scott Aldrigde. Whether I plan to involve his band mates or focus on the solo part I have not decided.
The photo, will be a long shot. He will be set behind bars looking very 'relaxed' and 'cool'. Being behind the bars will hopefully give out an effect of releasing the rock star. As he he new on the block and will go far!
The long shot allows enough detail of himself and the setting around him. It will make him center of attention as he wont have a theme behind him with a lot going on.
Also this kind of shot, will allow the reader to notice what kind of style Scott is and what kind of style he enjoys. Visually, it will let the audience to gain knowledge on what kind of person who's featured and who they will be reading about.
